Mortars for building and plastering


In the present time we use on construction sites dry mortar mixtures instead of mortar made directly on the construction site from different sedimentsn (lime, cement, sand na water). It is especially from the reason of securing the quality of the mortar.The mortar mixture producers they provide the high quality due to the great technologies and provide also the possibility of preparation of the mortar mixtures for different usage.The brickwork mortage is separated in consideration of the firmness and pressure from 2,5 to 10 MPa, according to the kinds of processing on hand and machinery mortar and according to bulk weight on heat isolated brickwork mortar. For the inside brickworks from bricks SUPE®THERM there are the regular mortars the most suitable.For the outside brickworks SUPE®THERM there are used mortars which are under condition of the firmness and stability of pressure min. 2,5 MPa under condition of firmness and stability in stroke with bend of min. 0,8 MPa. If we want to increase the heating pressure of the brickwork it is necessary to use the heat isolated mortar. They are lightened either physically (by pealite, keramzit and more), chemically (frost proofing addmixture) nor the combination of both types. For the regular brickworks SUPE®THERM we recommend to use the light heat isolated brickwork mortar SUPE®THERM TM. Increasing of the heating pressure of the brickwork while using the heat isolated mortar SUPE®THERM TM comes to 20–24 % instead of the regular mortar. The return of the cost in consideration with nowadays prices of heating comes up to 3–5 years.


For edging the brickworks from bricks SUPE®THERM can be used for all aspects of use – edging for hand or machine processing, one layer edging and more layers edging (tzv. Edging systems), inside edging, outside, hard edging, light edging, heat isolated,and more For edging for the brickworks from the system SUPE®THERM it is suitable to use both types of mortar – mortar for regular edging and mortar for heat isolated edging(heat isolated edging SUPE®THERM TO).

Requirements for brickwork surface and for edging:

  • It should be straight with completely filled joings in between the bricks.
  • It must be dry (max. dampness of the brickwork 6 %, in winter season max. 4 %).
  • The base can not chalk.
  • It can not be frozen or water resistant.
  • Without the dust parts and a free pieces of the brickwork
  • Cleaned of any damaging blooms (considering dark local coloring of bricks, which is caused by reducing burn,it does not have negative influence on quality of the bricks.
To prevent the damage of the appearance of wholes in edging is necessary
  • The surface of other building material (concrete, polystyrene, wood, steal and more.) and its change for the neighbour brickwork it must be obtained by a wire netting or glass textile netting
  • By the brickwork from bricks P+D in angles of the walls is necessary to fill the slots with the mortar (for keeping good heat isolated features of the brickworks it is more suitable to use the heat isolated mortar),same as eventual wholes and tores in the brickwork, and that is at least 5 days before the edging stejn.


Inside edging are made in the first two months after building the wall, if the building mortar is mature and ready enough and the dampness of the walling vlhkost zdiva does not come over the restricted norm.. For outside edging there must be processed at least two months after the inside edging so the complete dryness of the brickwork happens. External edging are layered, because they are directly exposed to climate conditions and they must be resistant for any influence by the external features of the environment.The edging is made in three layers, hand or by machinery. First of all the connection course is layed out from the thing cement mortar, called affusion. The affusion is carried out by net system with minimal coverage of 50 %. For the affusion called (“špric”) the cement or limecement mortar (usage around 4 kg/mn For the core we can use the limecement or cement edging with the thickness of 15 mm at least, better at 25 mm. On the brickwork with vertically wholed brick blocks SUPE®THERM, which has very good heat isolated features is the best to be use the heat isolated edgingse coefficient of heat level λ max. 0,13 W/m.K. The surface layer is processed from hydrofobiz limecement concrete or cultivated edging After maturing of the edging (which is in one day by 1-2 mm thickness of the edging) it is possible to make coat of silicon, silikat, dispersion or cortareous color. Closing last layer se for the reason of requested permeability we recommend to make from the materials as silikat basis as the materials on the basis of akrylats are easier to dry.
